Saturday 23 April 21.00-22.30
Excellent noir detective series based in Wales. Well up there with its Euro brethren. Lead actor Richard Harrington is an active supporter of those running this week’s London Marathon in memory of t4w’s founding editor. Watch because it’s good but gratitude and thanks to Richard.
Monday 25 April 21.00-21.00
Horizon: How to find love online
t4w consistently finds that articles on online dating are amongst its most read. Here is an insight into the maths behind the emotion.
Thursday 28 April
The Extraordinary Case of Alex Lewis
A difficult but very worthwhile documentary about a man who caught a cold and as a result lost all his limbs. We knew man flu was bad but…..
Saturday 23 April 19.00-21.30
Radio 4 Extra
Play: The History Boys
A re-run of a 2004 version of Alan Bennett’s classic. Richard Griffiths, Frances de la Tour and James Corden provide the best of excuses to stay in on a Saturday night.
Friday 29 April 20.00-22.00
Friday Night is Music Night: Quincy Jones Special
A star-infested tribute to “Q”. He produced Michael Jackson. He also wrote the theme music for the Italian Job and has done everything in between. 79 Grammy Nominations says it all. A true musical genius. This live concert from the Cheltenham Jazz Festival should be spectacular. Give yourself an aural treat and grab this one.
